Those who know me know that I love a repetitive line, and more often than not an accompanying Netflix series I could probably tell you nothing about.

One of the many things I’ve decided to do with this lockdown time is to create an alphabet, not exactly original I realise, but it’s nice to have a predetermined list of 26 things I can interpret in my own way, using a ruled lead pencil 10mm grid, and freehand ink lines, and on special occasions when the need arises - my newly acquired compass. I’ve been using any paper/ grid book I have in my possession. I’m quite happy with the resulting images - I think they will look lovely on walls on their own or in a larger collective. I’m just experimenting with reproduction methods and will hopefully share some progress snaps in the lead up to me listing some prints for sale.

Some letters are easier than others to breakdown into lines and curves and there have been a few duds that need a bit more work at a smaller sketchier scale before going all the way with the larger iterations. Here are some process scribbles.
